Our Story: From Idea to Innovation
At the heart of every great idea lies a moment of inspiration—and ours began in December 2021. That’s when our journey officially started, as we gathered with a team of engineers to discuss an ambitious project that would revolutionize the way we interact with commerce. What started as a vision soon grew into something much larger than we could have imagined.
The Road to Development: November 2022
By November 2022, after months of relentless planning, designing, and app development, we had nearly completed our first prototype—a groundbreaking system that could truly make a difference in the world of commerce. However, despite the progress, we faced an unfortunate roadblock: a lack of funding. The first version, though promising, never made it to market.
In hindsight, we see it as a blessing in disguise. That setback gave us the time we needed to refine our idea and further validate its potential. It also gave us the opportunity to focus on the bigger picture—creating something truly remarkable.
A Setback and the Power of Persistence: Mid 2023
Fast forward to mid-2023, and we found ourselves facing another challenge: securing funding. After several attempts, we hit a wall. Despite the undeniable potential of our product, the responses from would-be investors were discouraging. Some offered feedback that was brutally honest:
“We like the concept, it addresses a definitive need, but you’re at the three F’s stage of raising capital: Family, Friends, and Fools.”
“I think this product could solve a huge problem for estates, but I would rather invest when you're one year into operations.”
It was a tough pill to swallow. But rather than giving up, we took these comments to heart. We knew we had something special—and the feedback only strengthened our resolve to push forward.
The Turning Point: March 2024
By early 2024, our founder, Jandre, was at a crossroads. The idea was still alive in his heart, but the challenges had nearly extinguished his hope. With a deep belief in the future of commerce and a desire to bring joy to consumers, Jandre came close to giving up the project. But the thought of letting go of something so impactful was unbearable. So, he made a decision: we weren’t going to take “no” for an answer.
Two months later, through perseverance and sheer determination, we managed to secure less than a quarter of our initial funding goal. But it was enough. With these new resources, we were able to complete our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and prepare it for market launch.
The Beginning of a New Era: December 2024
By December 2024, our first smart locker was up and running. With the manufacturing line now established, we were more than ready to take on 2025 with full force.
We’ve come a long way from those early days of uncertainty. What once seemed like a far-fetched idea has transformed into an innovative solution that addresses a significant need in today’s commerce landscape.
